MUSIC ALBUM – Substance by Marvin Sapp

American Award-winning International Gospel music icon Marvin Sapp hits the gospel scenes with his latest brand new album tagged, “Substance.”

Commenting on the album, the thirteen(13)-time Grammy award nominee says “When we look at the catastrophic numbers of people who did not come out on the side of this, we have to thank God and acknowledge that the reason we did is that God kept us.”

“This album is called Substance because it delivers applicable principles while giving listeners music that is enjoyable and uplifting,” – Sapp continues. “After everything that we have gone through over the past two years, I wanted to deliver an album with biblically-based lyrical content that is both fortifying and entertaining.” – he concludes.

The project is the first to be released on Marvin’s-owned label Elev8 Media & Entertainment, which is distributed through Thirty Tigers. It is also the first to be recorded in Sapp’s newly built Fort Worth, Texas studio

The eleven(11)-track album project features songs like “You Kept Me,” co-written by Jarmone Davis, “Serve the Lord” featuring the Williams Singers, “Not the Time, Not the Place” and “Grace and Mercy.”

This new album serves as Marvin’s fifteenth (15th) installation and joins a list of other projects credited to him.
